Why does NEXO ask me to add an account first?

Every personal expense in NEXO is logged against one of your accounts: the place the money came from, like cash, a GCash wallet or a bank card. That's how NEXO keeps your balances right.

So if you try to add a personal record before you have an account, you'll see Add a wallet first. Tap Add wallet and:

1. Pick the kind of account (for example Cash, E-wallet or Bank card).
2. Give it a name, like "Wallet" or "GCash".
3. Enter how much is in it right now.
4. Save.

Shared expenses don't need an account. If you're only adding expenses to a shared space, you can skip this.
